Meet the Team

David Allingham

Director
BEc, BA, GradDipEnvPlg, MPIA, GAICD

David has 15 years experience as a statutory and strategic planner and director with broad experience in both the private and public sector.

As a planning professional, David has navigated all aspects of the Tasmanian planning system over his career including, development applications, planning scheme amendments, policy submissions and appeared as an expert at the Tasmanian Planning Commission and planning Tribunal.

David has built strong connections with other planning professionals and uses his strong communication skills and relationships to reach positive planning outcomes.

David has a passion for translating good strategic planning to real life projects. He has succeeded in obtaining millions in grant funding to deliver multiple community and physical infrastructure projects.

David enjoys using his technical skills to navigate complex planning projects and excels at community consultation and stakeholder engagement. He is known for being persistent and trying new approaches to get projects over the line.

David Cundall

Director
BA, GradDipEnvPlg, DipPM, MPIA

David has over 15 years’ experience as a town planner, project manager and people manager.

David has held a number of roles over this time including Council Manager of Development and Environmental Services (6 years), Council Senior Planner, Strategic Planner and Planning Technical Leader with GHD (approx. 2 years).

Around 7 years ago, David commenced private practice and has worked full-time in the private sector for the past 4 years. David is a current member of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).

David is now a Director (and owner) at Form Planning + Projects and provides expert town planning and project management services to a range of clients in the public and private sector. He brings extensive knowledge of the design, planning and approvals process in building and infrastructure projects.

David has a diverse portfolio of experience and offers planning and project services for the following:
